Terms & Conditions

The Weekly Bu mobile application is built on the principle of user autonomy and privacy.

No Accounts: You do not need to create an account to use Weekly Bu. The core service runs on your device.

Data Ownership: You own your data. Check-in content you enter in the app—including values you choose and discussions—remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers for routine operation.

Optional calendar email: If you choose features that send calendar-related email to you or your partner, you instruct us to process the information described in the App Privacy Policy (including names, email addresses, and scheduling preferences) through our infrastructure and Brevo. When reCAPTCHA is enabled for that flow, it is required for abuse prevention; the invite cannot be sent through our service without a successful verification.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymous data about how you use the app (for example feature usage or session duration) only with your explicit approval, to help us improve the service. This data will never include the content of your interactions or any interaction with your partner.

Third-party services: The app and our backends rely on independent providers, including Vercel (hosting/API delivery), Brevo (email), Google (reCAPTCHA Enterprise and related cloud verification), and Sentry (crash and error monitoring, performance data, and optional mobile session replay from the app on your device; plus error monitoring on our hosted APIs and—where applicable—the marketing website as described in our App Privacy Policy and Website Privacy Policy). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. Website visitors are also subject to additional integrations listed in the Website Terms & Conditions.

Service Availability: Core app functionality depends on your device. We are not responsible for data loss from device failure, uninstallation, or loss of local backups.
